My Personal Why

I understand the struggle—because I’ve lived it.

At one point, I was failing out of high school, overwhelmed, and convinced I was falling short in every part of my life. Learning executive function skills didn’t just help me get back on track—it changed the entire direction of my life.

That transformation became my Ikigai—a Japanese concept meaning “a reason for being”—and it continues to fuel my passion for helping others. Whether I’m working with a student, a parent, or a professional, my goal is the same: to build sustainable systems, foster self-trust, and support meaningful, lasting success in school, work, and life.

Credentials & Academic Background

I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) with dual concentrations in Education and Special Education from Montclair State University, where I also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Psychology. My additional graduate-level coursework in education at Adams State University and Kean University further deepened my foundation in developmental learning, instructional methods, and adult learning principles, while expanding my understanding of family systems theory and whole-person approaches to education and change.

I am a New Jersey State Certified Teacher of the Handicapped, with over 15 years of specialized experience supporting neurodivergent individuals—including those with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, and executive function challenges—through research-driven strategies that support meaningful, sustainable outcomes.

My leadership approach prioritizes equity, psychological safety, and strategic collaboration. I’m experienced in organizational planning, stakeholder engagement, and fostering inclusive environments where diverse strengths are recognized, leveraged, and developed. These efforts are grounded in evidence-based frameworks that support both individual and systemic growth.
